Operation must be in accordance with BAE Systems Aircraft Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS), Document number 94117-B24718, Revision B, FAA approved on November 14, 2017, or later FAA approved revision. The AFMS must be carried in the aircraft during all flights. 4. Maintenance must be in accordance with Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA): BAE Systems ICA, Document number 94117-B24716, Revision B, dated November 08, 2017, or later FAA accepted revision. Airworthiness Limitations Section 16 is FAA approved. BAE Systems Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS) ICA, Document number 94117- B24717, Revision A, FAA approved on June 23, 2017, or later FAA approved revision. These ICAs must be made available to the operator at the time of installation. 5. FAA Certification of this installation was limited to the evaluation of the electronic countermeasures equipment’s effects on the safe operation of the aircraft, and does not connote FAA endorsement of the effectiveness of the equipment in countering a MANPADS threat. In addition, the FAA has not evaluated the safety of the IR laser for use on the ground or in the air. Operation of the IR laser, to include appropriate laser safety training for flight crew and maintenance personnel, should be in accordance with the intent of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standards Z136.1, Safe use of Lasers, and Z136.6, Use of Lasers Outdoor. 6. Compatibility of this design with previously approved modifications must be determined by the installer.
