3. A copy of this certificate and the attached FAA Approved Model List must be maintained as part of the modified aircraft's permanent records.

4. Maintenance is to be performed in accordance with the following Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), or later FAA accepted revision. The ICA must be made available to the operator at the time of installation.

5. The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved modifications.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the installation of a Honeywell Primus II (XS-852) ADS-B Out System in the aircraft defined by FAA Approved Model List (AML), Pro Star Aviation 21378-AML-101, is as follows:

1. Introduction This document is the FAA Approved Model List for STC No. ST00361BO for the installation of a Honeywell Primus II (XS-852) ADS-B Out System.

This modification is FAA approved as a multiple-use Supplemental Type Certificate (STC).

Authorization for follow-on installations must be granted, in writing, by the STC holder. Any authorization will be issued for one aircraft serial number only and if applicable, will identify the configuration to which permission has been granted.

2. Prerequisite Information The prerequisite information for this modification can be found in the Installation Data List 21378-IDL-101 for each airplane eligible for this proposed modification. It is further broken down within the Engineering Report defined for each installation configuration. Reference the Installation Data List to determine the proper Engineering Report for the particular installation configuration. It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure this prerequisite equipment is properly interfaced to meet the intended function for the system, as certified under this AML approval.

3. Enhanced Surveillance This STC u pgrades the Integrated Communications Unit to the RCZ -8XX(L)(M) and can facilitate the implementation of Enhanced Surveillance functionality , as well as reduce the capability of existing Enhanced Surveillance functionality. Unless otherwise stated in the ST C data package, t he installer is responsible for the integration activities required to implement/maintain Enhanced Surveillance functionality, as well as obtaining the appropriate operational approvals. Section 4 defines installations in which Enhanced Surveillance functionality has been verified in conjunction with the STC.
