The aircraft must be maintained in accordance with Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, document number A23339M-253 Revision A, dated November 15, 2023, or later FAA accepted revision.

1) The installer must determine whether this design change is compatible with previously approved Modifications.

2) If the STC holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter the product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

3) FOR EMB-545 AIRCRAFT ONLY: The Gogo Dual Directional Antennas (DDA) required for this installation are not considered as part of this approval. Any antennas interfacing with the equipment approved under this certificate must be installed under an amendment to this approval or via separate STC approval.

4) FAA approved Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICA), Chapter 10, Airworthiness Limitations (AWL), document A23339M-253 Revision A (CH. 10 at Revision I/R), FAA approved on January 25, 2024, or later FAA approved revision is required for this modification.

Certification Basis:

Based on 14 CFR §§ 21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the Embraer EMB-545, EMB-550 aircraft is as follows:

a. The type certification basis for the Embraer EMB-545, EMB-550 aircraft is shown on TCDS TC00062IB for parts not changed or affected by the change.

b. This certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, February 13, 2023, is based upon TCDS TC00062IB.
