Airplane Flight Manual Supplement (AFMS), Document Number 2176021090, Revision A, dated October 4, 2005, or later FAA/DAS approved revision is required.

Descriptive data pertaining to this design change are considered inadequate for duplication in other products. This approval is limited to only the installation made in Boeing Model 747-4J6, Serial Number 25880. This STC does not permit manufacturing parts for multiple installations. This aircraft is not to be operated for hire or offered for common carriage.

Airworthiness Limitation inspections per FAR 25, Appendix H are continued in Associated Air Center Document Number 2176050090, Revision D, dated October 11, 2007, “Instructions for Continued Airworthiness”, Chapter 3.

The Flight Deck EFB Model 1000NG, which provisions in this amendment is intended, has not been certified and is not part of this approval. Additional FAA approval is required for the installation of this equipment and must be evaluated to assure satisfactory compliance with the applicable airworthiness standards.

Certification Basis: The certification basis for this STC is the same as that identified on Type Certificate Data Sheet A20WE with the addition of Exemption Number 8460, except for the election of later amendments as listed:

14 CFR 25.869 (a) Amdt 25-72; 25.1316 (b)(c)(6) Amdt (25-80).
