2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

1. INTRODUCTION This document is the FAA approved model list (AML) for supplemental type certificate (STC} number ST11214DS, which installs a Dukane Seacom Underwater Low Frequency Acoustic Beacon on eligible Part 25 aircraft.

Revision to the AM L must be coordinated between the STC holder and the responsible ODA/ACO and requires ODA/FAA approval.

Important Notes:

• Do not install in a rotor burst zone.

2. CERTIFICATION BASIS The certification basis for each model qualified for this modification is detailed below:

Based on 14 CFR §21.115 and §21.101 and FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the AML modified by installing the Dukane Seacom, DK 180 Underwater Low Frequency Acoustic Beacon on Part 25 Aircraft into eligible aircraft is as follows:
