1. Introduction This document is the FAA approved model list (AML) for supplemental type certificate (STC) number ST11284DS, for the installation of Aviation Clean Air (ACA) aircraft ionization units in eligible Part 25 aircraft.

Revision to this AML must be coordinated between the STC holder and the responsible ODA/ACO and requires ODA/FAA approval.

Limitations and Conditions (continued from page 1 of the certificate):

2. If the holder agrees to permit another person to use this certificate to alter a product, the holder must give the other person written evidence of that permission.

3. The FAA has reviewed the applicant’s assessment showing that this modification does not impact the existing electrical wiring interconnection system instructions for continued airworthiness (EWIS ICA) and found that no additional EWIS ICA tasks are required.

4. This modification shall not be incorporated onto aircraft equipped with ionization smoke detecti on systems. To be eligible, ionization smoke detection systems must be replaced with non-ionization smoke detection systems prior to the incorporation of this modification

2. Certification Basis The certification basis for each model qualified for this modification is detailed below:

Based on 14 CFR §§21.115 and 21.101, and the FAA policy for significant changes in FAA Order 8110.48, the certification basis for the AML STC modified by installing ACA aircraft ionization units in eligible Part 25 aircraft is as follows:

a. The certification basis for the approved model list is shown in the respective Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS) for parts not changed or not affected by the change.

b. The modification certification basis for parts changed or affected by the change since the reference date of application, January 07, 2022, is as follows:
