NOTE 6. The 977C9HD1, 2 and 3 engine ratings and limitations are applicable to helicopter installation and operation.
NOTE 7. The ratings of engine Models 977 and 987 C9HD1 are based on standard conditions of temperature and barometric
pressure (60°F and 29.92 in. Hg. at sea level) and 80% relative humidity. If corrected to dry standard air conditions,
the rated powers would be increased approximately 2.5% at sea level to 0.4% at 15,000 ft. for equal manifold
pressure settings.
NOTE 8. The following spark plugs are approved on these engines:
AC 171, 181, 271, 273, 281, 285

NOTE 9. The 977C9HD3 engine is similar to the 977C9HD1 except the high ratio impeller drive has been deactivated by the
removal of appropriate parts of the impeller drive and clutch control assembly.
