1. Purpose. This advisory circular (AC) transmits a website that contains Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certificated Pilot Schools.
2. Cancellation. This AC cancels AC 140-2JJ, FAA Certificated Pilot Schools Directory, dated August 22, 2006.
3. Directions for Using the Website. You may obtain information regarding FAA Certificated Pilot Schools by accessing the following website:
http://av-info.faa.gov/PilotSchool.asp.
• Next to the headings: “Partial Name,” “City,” “State,” and/or “Country,” enter any information you have.
• Select: “Search.”
• For a listing of all FAA Certificated Pilot Schools, select: “Show All.”
4. Comments Regarding Additions, Changes, and Deletions. If you have comments about the data accessed through the website (additions, changes, and deletions), please contact the Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) serving the area in which the FAA Certificated Pilot School is located.
