Parachute Practical Test Standard
1. PURPOSE. This advisory circular announces the cancellation of FAA-S-8081-19, Recreational Pilot Powered Parachute Practical Test Standard.
2. CANCELLATION. AC 61-127, Announcement of Availability: FAA-S-8081-19, Recreational Pilot Powered Parachute Practical Test Standard, dated 6/2/97, is canceled.
3. BACKGROUND. The Recreational Pilot Powered Parachute Practical Test Standard was issued in June 1997. At that time it was anticipated that an appropriate aircraft category would be added to Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations part 61. Currently, the regulation has not been amended in this manner. For this reason, the practical test standard is withdrawn until such time as the rule includes this aircraft category.
