Narrative: pilot was enroute to gpt from ga when the pilot advised gpt ATC that he was out of gas. Pilot landed on roadway near Ocean Springs, MS. Pilot was able to obtain fuel from nearby FBO & after putting 10 gal. On board departed to Ocean Springs where he put additional 45 gal. Pilot & pax departed for short flight to gpt. Investigation revealed the aircraft engine quit due to fuel starvation.

PILOT WAS ABLE TO OBTAIN FUEL FROM NEARBY FBO & AFTER PUTTING 10 GAL. ON BOARD DEPARTED TO OCEAN SPRINGS WHERE HE PUT ADDITIONAL 45 GAL. PILOT & PAX DEPARTED FOR SHORT FLIGHT TO GPT. INVESTIGATION REVEALED THE AIRCRAFT ENGINE QUIT DUE TO FUEL STARVATION.
