From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: after takeoff the pilot noted that the landing gear did not retract completely. When he extended the gear it did not indicate a down and locked condition. Repeated cycling of the landing gear with both the normal and emergency systems failed to get a down and locked indication. Upon landing the gear retracted partially and the aircraft slid to a stop. There was minor damage to the aircraft and no injuries to the occupants. Inspection of the aircraft disclosed that there was not enough hydraulic fluid in the reservoir for the retraction system. To function normally. It is not known at this time what malfunction caused the loss of the hydraulic fluid. The owner will submit a maintenance or defect report when a more detailed inspection of the hydraulic system is completed. There was no pilot deviation. This incident is closed.
