Narrative: after doing a high speed taxi after maintenance, nose wheel began to shimmy after a/c slowed to walking speed nose strut broke off at the fork. A/c settled to ground damaging propeller. No injuries incurred. A SDR report was submitted and a metal fatigue inspection is being accomplished on the fork assembly. This incident is closed.
