From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: while taxiing the aircraft for the purpose of a test flight after maintenance, the aircraft made a right turn onto the taxiway from the airport ramp area. Upon making the turn, the left main gear collapsed causing a ruptured fuel line and minor damage to the aircraft. The aircraft was jacked up, the left main gear was positioned down and locked, and the aircraft was towed to a maintenance hangar. Inspection of the aircraft by the maintenance facility revealed no obvious reason for the collapse. Maintenance facility rebushed the main landing gear actuator attach points and installed new actuator rod ends and attachment hardware. System operational check was satisfactory. This incident is closed.
