From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: while cruising at FL280 with engine and airfoil anti-ice on, crew found the cabin pressurization difficult to maintain. Crew descended to FL240, turned off engine and airfoil anti-ice, and performed procedures that did not help. Declared an emergency and descended 10,000 feet and oxygen masks deployed. Once reaching 10,000 feet, both packs started working normally in both flow and temperature. Last leg of flight was uneventful. Ground crew pressurized aircraft off the right pack and it checked good. Replaced left air cycle machine. Aircraft was pressurized and operational check was normal. Removed and replaced oxygen generator canister in cabin, lavatories, and galley,. This incident is closed.
