From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: while taxiing from private property adjacent to the Hendersonville Airport, the aircraft began to cross an earthen bridge to access the runway. Excessive rain had made the bridge soft and the edge was marked with 5 gallon buckets to prevent aircraft from taxiing close to the edge. The pilot attempted to taxi in the middle of the bridge but a sinkhole opened under the aircraft's nose wheel. Damage to the aircraft was minor, involving only a bent propeller. There were no injuries to the pilot or his passenger. This incident is closed and requires no further action.
