What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Narrative: on take off from runway 30 at Morristown, aircraft about to takeoff and went into mud at the end of the runway. At rotation, when pilot pulled back on yoke, the nose dropped. Not knowing what caused the malfunction, the pilot decided to abort the takeoff. He stated he thought he had a flat tire, so he didn't apply maximum baking. He went a few feet into mud at the end of the runway, rather than make a sharp turn and collapse gear. Maintenance found the nose strut had collapsed. No damage, no injuries, and no further action.
