From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Skipped sideways on crosswind landing. Went around. Distracted by traffic on second attempt. Landed gear up. (-23) airplane touched down on runway 3 abq. The x-wind was blowing the plane toward the side of the runway so the pilot executed a go-around. He was distracted by an airliner on the runway and concerned with the crosswind and forgot to lower the gear on the 2nd landing. The airplane skidded to a stop and the pilot and passengers deplaned. The prop was damaged on all 3 prop blades and the belly skins were scraped off. The main fuselage stringer was ground down and will require extensive disassembly to repair.
