From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: while conducting a 135.293/297 proficiency check in Cessna N191C I noticed that the port engine lost partial power on instrument approaches. Power was restored when the mixture was adjusted to a leaner setting. Upon returning to Willow Run, we executed a normal approach and landing. The port engine failed on the landing roll and fuel began to pour from the engine. We observed a mist forming around the port engine and the odor of fuel was predominate. A decision was made to immediately evacuate the aircraft on the taxiway and emergency personnel were notified of our problem. Aircraft fuel line ruptured causing fuel leak.
