From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: the pilot stated: "I was assigned gate 9 in pit. On arrival, a piedmont aircraft N911HA was parked on gate #11. On arrival, a truck was parked in an area that prohibited us from getting to the gate. The truck was pushed out of the way, but other trucks were parked as to make it very tight. The front marshaler was about 30 feet in front of the aircraft. There was a marshaler on the left wing and right wing. I was observing front marshaler (dan keic). He was indicating to continue to move forward. I would occasionally look at the left marshaler (carol Stinson) and her thumb was up. I then looked back at the front marshaler. He was still motioning to come forward. I then looked back left and I noticed the wing of my aircraft under the piedmont aircraft. She was now signaling to stop. Aircraft was stopped and shut down." Submission of this report closes this incident.
