From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

Narrative: on June 15, 1996, at APPROXIMATELY1030 MST, Mr. Gerald paller was pilot-in-command of Beech 35-C33A, N277K, when the landing gear collapsed during landing at Deer valley municipal airport, Phoenix, Arizona. The airplane sustained minor damage to the propeller, engine and undercarriage. There were no injuries to the properly certificated pilot, sole occupant of the aircraft. The pilot's intended destination for this pleasure flight was falcon field in mesa, Arizona. After takeoff, during gear retraction, the pilot experienced a landing gear indication. The landing gear motor circuit breaker either popped or was pulled by the pilot, who then elected to return to Deer valley airport. The pilot performed an emergency landing gear extension to the stop position. He executed a low approach past the tower cab, who radioed the landing gear appeared down. On touchdown on runway 7R, the landing gear collapsed. Investigation disclosed that the landing gear over-center linkage had failed. Incident closed.
