The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Narrative: on approach to float pond one the pilot heard a loud bang, followed by a yaw and rapid rate of descent. The pilot was able to arrest the rate of descent and landed with a reduction of power. The right wing started to fall. The pilot had to maintain full power to keep the right wing out of the water. He was able to maintain a balance of speed and power to the shore. The aircraft did not sustain any damage as a result of beaching. A post flight inspection found the left rear fuselage fitting and the right front float fitting had failed.
