From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: at approximately 1822Z NO3C taxied for departure and advised ground control he had three jumpers (skydivers). NO3C departed at approximately 1831Z. At approximately 1853Z NO3C advised the jumpers were out of the airplane. At approximately 1856Z a helicopter departing the airport westbound inquired about the two skydivers to his left. It was at this time the tower became aware of the skydivers location, which was south of the approved landing place. They deployed over the south tip of mendenhall peninsula and drifted north. One skydiver landed at the golf course in the vicinity of runway 8 approach lights. The other two parachutists descended out of visual range of the tower.
