From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(.4)Shortly after takeoff, the pilot experienced a gradual lost of engine power. The pilot made an emergency landing in the overrun area and the airplane went into rough and uneven terrain. Examination of the engine, fuel system and engine control linkages did not reveal any discrepancies. (-23) engine lost power gradually at 100-150' AGL. Pilot had leaned for 5603' arpt. On take off roll. When engine lost power pilot noticed EGT climbing. He switched fuel tanks and turned electric boost pump on. Engine did not respond and continued to lose power until impact. Prop showed little if any power was being produced at impact.
