From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: after landing, aircraft veered sharply to the right. Pilot corrected to left, then veered to left and went between the runway lights at about 45 degrees from the runway through the grass. Pilot gave aircraft full power and tail came up. VASI lights were 10 feet directly in front of him. It was too late to change direction so he turned slightly to the left and missed the first light but struck the second. Pilot landed 30'L from light and stopped. He suspected prop wash from a Cessna 182 that had recently taken off. He told iic that a wind gust had pushed him into the VASI. privacy data omitted
