From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: airman was on a cross country flight from north central airport (sfz) RI to portland, me (pwm) where he executed a touch and go then flew to manchester, NH (mht) where he executed another touch and go. He then departed on a return flight to sfz. While en route to sfz fuel was exhausted and the airman executed a power off landing to a baseball field in Woonsocket, RI. Nose wheel collapsed and prop and lower engine cowl was damaged. On scene investigation revealed fuel tanks were empty. Pilot did not ascertain the amount of fuel available prior to departure. He encountered unreported weather en-route and failed to consider factors which caused him to use significantly more fuel than planned. Made forced landing to business/residential area of Woonsocket.
