From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was not sure he wanted to make flight. He finally decided to make the flight. After take off pilot decided to return to airport. While on approach to Monroe Airport the pilot suffered a fatal heart attack. When the pilot suffered the heart attack the aircraft was about 50 to 100 feet off the ground. The aircraft nosed up and headed toward the hanger and FBO. The passenger, who is not a pilot, tried to control the aircraft and get it on the ground. The passenger managed to avoid the hangers, buildings, and people on the ground but hit on top of a hill an went into the woods.
