From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: due to icing conditions in flight, the pilot asked center for vectors to the ILS 30 approach at bkx. Because of a strong tailwind, a circle to land on runway 12 was initiated. The boots were cycled several times prior to beginning the circling maneuver. When beginning the landing flare at approx. 15' AGL, the right wing stalled due to ice accumulation, causing the right wing to drop. A hard landing ensued. Due to maximum compression of the main gear and a nose down attitude, the right propeller blade tips were curled after coming in contact with the runway.
