From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: pilot landed on runway 01 had concern about wind favoring runway 19 so announced his intention and was taxiing to the north end of the airport. The taxiway is quite close to the parked aircraft (from centerline to Mooney prop, in parking spot, distance was approximately 22' the Cessna span being 36' leaves 4' between wing tip and the other parked airplane). Pilot didn't notice anything other than an engine and the next thing he noticed was his tip had been hit by the other airplane, which happened to be a Mooney.
