What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Narrative: while landing at Friday Harbor, WA, (fhr) in gusty wind conditions, with reported windshear, the pilot became distracted and landed his aircraft on amphibious floats wheels up. The only damage was a little scraping of paint off the bottom of the floats. The company that owns the aircraft is soley owned by the pilot, and since there were no passengers there was no FAR violation.
