From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: airplane was on a pleasure flight. Pilot descended to 1800 feet and upon a heading change the engine quit. Pilot tried to restart engine but was unsuccessful and landed the airplane on a golf course intentionally leaving the landing gear in the up position. There was minor damage to the airplane belly and propeller. Investigation revealed that the center fuel tank had 20 gallons of fuel, both tip tanks were empty, and no mechanical failures were noted. The engine was secured and ran normally. We could not duplicate the engine failure. Pilot was counseled about fuel management procedures. privacy data omitted
