From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: pilot stated on approach he put the gear handle down and the aircraft landed with the gear up. The pilot stated he had no gear warning (light or horn). A gear swing was performed by the owners mechanic and observed by the FAA iic on the gear swing a bent rt MLG actuator tube assembly was found. Due to this rod being bent the tab on it that makes contact with the switch assy to shut the landing gear motor off will not make contact and when the motor gets hot the circuit breaker pops not letting the landing gear come down. Due to the pilots airspeed being over 60 KTS (min for airspeed gear warn) and the throttle being advanced past the gear warning contact he never got a warning. This rod is under a belly pan and is not visible for inspection prior to flight. Airworthiness of the aircraft was a factor due to the rt MLG actuator tube assembly being bent. This was not noticable without removing the belly pan off the aircraft.
