From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: the pilot stated that he had put the landing gear handle down, saw a green gear light and the red transit light. He did not look at the nose gear manual indicator. He disregarded the red light as a malfunction. Due to strong crosswind, extra power was maintained on final which did not allow the gear unsafe audio horn to arm (horn did sound as pilot retarded the throttle when ground contact was made). Landing gear was not extended, gear up landing was made. Maintenance could not reproduce the problem nor could any faulty equipment be found. Pilot kenneth brown was counseled by FAA inspector dudley oatman (hou FSDO).
