From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: aircraft was preparing to land at joplin, MO. When the landing gear was lowered, the right main gear down indicator light failed to illuminate. Crew elected to divert to Springfield, MO because the tower at joplin was not in operation and the weather was marginal. Aircraft made an uneventful landing at sgf, no evacuation. Aircraft was inspected by rexa maintenance and ferried to home base. Maintenance determined that right gear down indicator light bulb and back-up bulb had burned out. This report is considered closed.
