From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: pilot stated he was talking to shaw approach and when he switched over to cae tower he noticed his radios were intermittent. The tower started giving him vectors for the ILS ii approach when he lost communications completely. He then put the gear handle in the down position and saw the green landing gear down lights on. After this everything went off. He said that he was flying between layers of clouds but was able to see the downtown and from that reference he found the airport. He tried lowering the flaps but they would not work. He decided to land and upon landing the left main gear touched, but the right main and the nose gear did not. The pilot then switched off the fuel and then the power. The pilot was not hurt and the aircraft sustained minor damage. The mechanical reliability report stated the aircraft alternator failed.
