From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: after landing, the g-iv (N888SQ) taxied to a ramp in front of one of the hangars. Personnel from an FBO met the g-iv to marshal it to a parking place. The g-iv was directed to taxi between the rear of a parked BE-300 (N300YM) and a row of aircraft to the g-iv's right. The g-iv's left winglet tip struck the trailing edge of the rudder of a parked BE-300, causing minor skin damage to a six by ten inch area of the trailing edge of the BE-300'S rudder. The damage to the g-iv was minor scratches on the leading edge of the left winglet of less than 0.01" depth. One witness stated the lighting was poor and the person trained in marshaling aircraft was in the adjacent hangar. privacy data omitted
