From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

Also missing was one segment of the variable leading edge mid-flap next to the #4 engine nacelle, a gash (3'X5") on the bottom of the trailing edge flap outboard canoe (fiberglass) and a few dents on the #4 engine inboard cowl. There were some sheet metal parts recovered along the edge of runway 8L, where the aircraft had landed. These parts were not readily identifiable. The airworthiness of the aircrft was compromised when the parts were found missing from the engine. How this happened is not known at this time.
