From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Narrative: during landing rollout, a gust of wind weathervaned the aircraft. It went left. The pilot applied full right rudder, to no avail. He applied power to the left engine. The plane veered enough to the left that one propeller blade caught a reflector post. About 11/2" of the blade was damaged. There were no injuries to the 2 pilots or 2 passengers. AWOS weather gave the winds at 270-290, at 21/G28. They were landing on runway 35. The pilot was counseled regarding the published limitations landing on the aircraft and thinking in terms of personal limitations. He was compliant.
