What happened

Mr lasee departed Riverview Airport on a local personel flight at 1900 CDT and flew for approximately 1.5 hours. As he approached for landing at Riverview his engine failed and he was forced to land in a farmers field. As he applied the brakes the aircraft nosed down adn damaged the propeller and lower cowling. Minimal fuel was noted in the tanks.

MR LASEE DEPARTED RIVERVIEW AIRPORT ON A LOCAL PERSONEL FLIGHT AT 1900 CDT AND FLEW FOR APPROXIMATELY 1.5 HOURS. AS HE APPROACHED FOR LANDING AT RIVERVIEW HIS ENGINE FAILED AND HE WAS FORCED TO LAND IN A FARMERS FIELD. AS HE APPLIED THE BRAKES THE AIRCRAFT NOSED DOWN ADN DAMAGED THE PROPELLER AND LOWER COWLING. MINIMAL FUEL WAS NOTED IN THE TANKS.
