From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was flown from anc to mri. On approach into mri runway 15 the pilot inadvertantly lined up to edf 15. Mri instructed pilot of the error. The pilot corrected and landed at mri runway 15. During ground roll out, the aircraft swerved left, the right, crossed the runway onto the grass apron and ground looped. No damage. Investigation revealed that the aircraft rudder pedal for the pilot were out of adjustment. This was corrected prior to the next series of flights of which no other directional control problems occurred. Pilot was counseled on becoming familiar with local area.
