From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

1.5 Hours into this IFR flight from denver(apa) to san antonio (sat) with a fuel stop in Plainview, Texas, (pvw) the aircraft began to loose electrical power eventually suffering a complete electrical failure. The pilot continued his flight into pvw and attempted to lower the landing gear manually which failed due to the fact that he had not properly engaged the emergency mechanism. A gear up landing resulted with no injuries to the four occupants and minimal damage to the aircraft. Post incident investigation did not find the cause of the electrical failure; privacy data omitted
