From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot was repostioning aircraft from charlotte doughlas international airport to goose creek airport. Enroute the pilot made a decision to practice a lanidng at a private airfield. The airfield goes by the name of Bundy field and is a 2900 foot long sod runway. Aligned southeast to northwest. The pilot made the approach to the northwest and downwind. The aircraft touched down more than half way down the 2900 foot runway. The pilot could not bring it to a stop prior to the runway end. The aircraft overshot the runway end, in the process it went through a barbed wire fence, crossed a road, and came to a stop in a cornfield. Prior to coming to a stop the aircrafts nose wheel collapsed causing the propeller to strike the ground.
