From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-5)Pilot stated he flew a Cessna 210, N1887F from foley, al to Ferguson field Pensacola, FL. After entering the downwind portion of the traffic pattern to land on runway 18 he placed the landing gear handle in the down position and the gear made no attempt to extend. He exited the pattern to the west and climbed to three thousand feet at which time he attempted to use the emergency hand pump to extend the gear but the gear did not extend. He returned to Ferguson field and landed the aircraft gear up on runway 18. He did not radio the tower and declare an emergency because he said he didn't want a bunch of people out there watching him land. He also stated there was no injury to himself or property and that the aircraft experienced minor damage to the skin underneath the fuselage and damage to the propeller. Malfunction and defect report will follow if during the drop check there is problem with the landing gear.
