From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-5) Aircraft landed with nose gear retracted. Pilot stated he was distracted by traffic in the pattern, and did not extend the nosewheel. After landing, the pilot said he exited the aircraft and extended the nose gear manually, then taxied the aircraft under its own power to the ramp. He said the heads of four bolts under the nose of the aircraft were ground off by the pavement. He said he replaced the bolts and there was no other damage. The pilot was counseled. And no other action was initiated. This closes the investigation.
