From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On January 13, 1999, Cessna 414 en eoute from athens, Georgia (ahn) landed at hishawaka flying Club (3C1). The wind caught the a/c during landing, a/c slid on ice and hit the snow bank. Right main gear folded to the outboard position and left gear folded to the inboard position. Preliminary finding noted no damage to engine nacellers, or apparent to either engine fire wall. Both engine propellers were enbedded in the snow pack. No visible damage to the blade. NLG damage would be indicative of its contact with the snow bank and subsequent side load stresses experienced by a sideway's slide prior to coming to rest in the snow bank. No visible structure damage. Minor RI;;ling of secondary panels, and minor shee metal damage adjacent to the outboard of the left main gear. Pilot was the only occupant in the a/c and received no injury.
