From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-5)Pilot reported normal landing but after about 1500 foot roll nose gear collapsed and then the aircraft settled as the main gear folded also. My investigation of the aircraft noted the gear selector was in the down position and the mechanical nose gear indicator still showed down. Pilot reported electrical smell after aircraft camt to stop. No major structural damage. Damage limited to propellers, gear and doors, inboard trailing edge of flaps and fuselage damage around protrusions such as antennas. M & d to be supplied on gear system at repair.
