What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Pilot elected to takeoff after noting that nose strut was very low or flat. Pilot was unaware that nose gear did not retract properly, continued to destination. Upon gear extension, nose gear failed to extend, mains extended normally. Pilot confirmed with observers that main gear appeared down and locked. Landed on main gear, lowered nose to runway. Damage to both propellers, nose gear doors, nose skin and antennas.
