From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-5)During takeoff of runway 36 at Murfreesboro Municipal Airport (mbt) at rotation speed the pilot noticed a deer in his path slightly left of center line. The pilot lifted off and as the aircraft climbed out it struck the deer. The pilot noticed a slight vibration but the aircraft was making power and was climbing well so he opted to climb out and go around for a landing. Another pilot at the airport took off to reundeview with N7090F to see if there was any gear damage. Upon arriving in a distant formation with the aircraft he reported that there was no apparent gear failure which was consistent with the gear indication in the cockpit. The pilot returned and landed safely. Upon engine shut down the pilot noticed a small piece of the left propeller tip missing (approximately 1" x 2").
