From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-5) Landing gear was lowered for landing. Nose gear green light was not illuminated. PIC attempted several times, both mechanically and manually, to lower landing gear in an attempt to get a green indication light. Pilot made several passes over (lvk) runway while control tower observed nose landing gear for down position. After it was determined nose landing gear was not in the locked position, pilot made forced landing on runway 25R. Aircraft settled on main landing gear and dropped on its nose resulting in minor damage to aircraft and propeller.
