From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Enroute from ceder key (cdk) to vandenberg airport (X16)-on approach to X16 another aircraft noted that N3372C did not have it's left main landing gear completely lowered-they tried to cycle the gear several time to no avail. They lost the alternator and manually tried to extend the gear 7-8 times, the nose and right gear would lock down but the left would only go half way down. They proveeded to pie for an emergency landing (pie emerg. Equipped airport). They had no radio communication and landing gear up on runway 27. No injuries, minor damage.
