From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

(-23) Nose gear fork assemby, nose wheel fairing, and nose wheel assembly (including all attachment hardware) departed the aircraft in flight due to failure of the stud which secures the assemblies to the nose gear strut. The stud failed at or adjacent to the threaded area and was ground off during landing. The missing parts were not recovered. The nose gear strut was bent in the radius after contact with the runway. The nose strut torque tube yoke assembly broke off at the point where the end of the strut is located inside the yoke. The nose strut punctured the fuselage belly. The propeller and muffler were damaged by contact with the runway.
